Defining MyselfThis is the first time I have ever seriously entertained the notion of quitting my writing. Yes, I love to write and (no tooting of the horn intended) I am quite good at it. I’ve been writing since I was little, but only started taking it seriously in grade eight. Ever since then, I’ve defined myself by my writing and I am quite content knowing that I will forever be known to those who love me as a gifted writer.   
However, my writing has become very artificial. Whenever somebody asks me why I write, I normally say that it’s an indirect way of stating my feelings and, since usually the only time I can talk about such Defining Myself

Finding MyselfI don't know if I’m gay or not. I've dated girls and I've dated guys and, sure, I have only been completely serious with girls, but does that mean I'm a lesbian? Perhaps... I have always defended gays and lesbians against homophobes, defending their honour and whatnot, but is that just my diehard need to look out for the little guy or is that little nugget of personal rage a hint to what I really am: gay?

Logic versus EmotionFor the longest time, Uchiha Itachi had never really been fond of emotions. Emotions complicated things, made the decision-making process biased and thus affected the way one sees things. In other words, any decision that was made because of what his heart told him was the wrong decision. No, he much preferred his stone-cold, emotionless, fact-based logic and that was what he depended on day-in and day-out to keep him alive.   
But, recently, whenever he saw his little captive pacing around the bedroom he had so generously offered to her in lieu of the dark, dank and dirty cell he had locked her into while she healed from the injuri Logic versus Emotion

Hospitalization? o.o

No, they're not putting me back in the hospital, but it was a close call... ^^; All that my doctor said was that my parents need to keep an eye on me, look for anything "suspicious" (I refuse to define what a psychiatrist would deem suspicious) and, if anything happens, they'll adjust me meds. Great, that's just what I need, more pills! (:stab: <--- Medicated Mandy)

But anyway, apparently their using hospitalization as a last resort and, since I have been doing rather well with the anxiety (even though I still refuse to go anywhere near dogs, hugely crowded places, any mall by myself, creepy basements and/or any place where there is a possibility of being caught in a confrontation (which is almost everywhere here in Edmonton, by the way)) and the depression is a bit shaky, but... meh! :finger: <--- Mandy towards depression

The only real issue I've been having is with my sister. Yes, she moved back home and has been making my life a living hell. Well, I can't really say that because (contrary to popular belief) we've actually been getting along for the past couple of weeks! :eyepopping: However, my sister's relations with my parents aren't quite so easy-going.

You see... hm... perhaps I should explain a couple things first so that you don't get all confuzzled, 'kay? Part (and by ' part' I mean 'most' ) of my anxiety issue is that I have what my doctor calls Confrontation Phobia. This means that I will do anything and everything in my power to keep people from being mad at me and, if anybody yells at me... well, then it's all over.

So, my sister and my parents got into this HUGE argument about God-knows-what, all the yelling wakes me out of bed (at one in the afternoon ^^;) and they continue to fight all throughout the day. Then, as per usual, Kattie (my sister, as most of you know) walked out on us to go cool off. Big mistake for me.

Kattie usually walks out during the climax of the argument (by 'climax' I mean when their yelling is the loudest) and so my parents' tempers are pretty much non-existent. So, what do they do? They turn on each other! "You said this!" "You did that!" And I'm left in the middle of it, trying to get the chair to absorb me so that they don't turn on me!

But, of course, my luck sucks and, when Mom and Dad ran out of things to yell at each other about, they start yelling at me, making up excuses of why they should be mad at me. Dad storms to his room, Mom sits on the couch, bawling and I'm left there, scared poopless, wondering what the hell I should do. But, oh no, Mom isn't done yet! "How many times do I have to tell you to put away the dishes!" And then she starts slamming cupboards, stomping around the main floor, throwing a hissy fit over dishes.

Then, she has to go to the washroom, so I sneak off to our creepy basement that has always freaked me out (see above) and hid myself between the washer and dryer. This was the first time I have ever felt I needed to hide out of fear of my parents and, to tell you the truth, I was surprised nobody called the cops because of how loud Dad was yelling. But yeah... it wasn't the best night of my life.

But anyway! The anime convention is coming in August and I am PSYCHED!!! I'm going as a Mary-Sue (fitting, ain't it?) and I am going to glomp so many anime pplz that I'll be all glomped out for the rest of the year (which'll only be, like, four or five months, lol ^^;). But I am so looking forward to it and I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and show them off to you guys! X3
